The AACIS Professional Animal Cruelty Investigator: Equine Investigations certification course is an instructor-led course designed for students who job duties include investigating crimes and equine animals (horses, donkeys, mules, zebroids, etc.)
Registrants will participate in open discussions and participate in classroom activities on topics including, but not limited to equine breed and color identification, podiatry, dental, gastrointestinal function, equine nutrition, the starvation process, environmental assessments, animal welfare assessments, and body condition scoring.
Completion of this course requires that all registrants attend the entire course, participate in all discussions and hands-on training exercises, pass a written examination with a score of 80% or higher.
Registrants that successfully pass this course will receive a certification from the American Animal Cruelty Investigations School with the designation as an animal cruelty investigator for equine animals.
The early registration fee for this course is $600.00, the general registration fee is $650.00, and the later registration fee is $700.00.
