4. Describe the steps horse owners can take to minimize the risk of colic in their horses.

5. As an investigator, what environmental conditions may you see that contribute to horses developing colic?

6. As an investigator, what questions should we ask the owner when we encounter a horse that appears to be experiencing colic? What actions should you take if you encounter a horse that is experiencing colic?
