The Animal Control Officer Certification – Module A course is a 40-hour course that provides officers with the necessary skills and resources to successfully perform the duties of an animal control officer. This course is part one of a two-part, 80-hour certification course.

The Animal Control Officer Certification – Module B course is a 40-hour course that provides officers with the necessary skills and resources to successfully perform the duties of an animal control officer. This course is part two of a two-part, 80-hour certification course.
This course includes block training in animal cruelty investigations, hoarding investigations, dangerous dog investigations, animal welfare assessments, crime scene analysis, investigative report writing, and much more.

Chemical Immobilization Technician
16-Hour Certification Course
The AACIS Chemical Immobilization Certification Course is an instructor-led course designed for law enforcement and animal care and control professionals whose duties may require the use of anesthetizing chemicals to immobilize an animal for the purpose of capturing it.
Registrants will participate in open discussions and demonstrate proficiency in animal knowledge, pharmacology, dosage calculations, decision-making, handling post-capture emergencies, equipment handling, and proper documentation of a chemical immobilization operation. Additionally, students must demonstrate marksmanship, projector safety, and qualify on the range with a projector.
