Certification Training Classes

The American Animal Cruelty Investigations School (AACIS) is the nations premier curriculum development and training institution for law enforcement and animal care and control professionals. Every training program is developed using the most modern, relevant curriculum available today.  Additionally, every AACIS instructor has possesses a minimum of 10 years’ experience in their field of instruction and are considered experts in their respective fields.  The result is AACIS helps agencies ensure that the citizens of their community are served by professional, ethical, and well-trained officers.

Since 2014, AACIS has partnered with Gulf Coast State College and provides the best training and education for law enforcement and animal care and control professionals in the nation. Many of our training programs are state-specific, meaning they are relevant to the specified state and not a general training curriculum.

Our programs are well-known for their excellence and depth of knowledge for each topic.

AACIS courses are divided into three different categories: 1) Animal Control Officers, 2) Animal Cruelty Investigators, and 3) Animal Shelter Technicians..

Code 3 Associates offers a diverse and informative set of animal welfare academies and courses focused on animal cruelty training for investigators and certified animal rescue classes. Our instructors are chosen for their expertise, experience in the field and dynamic style of teaching. All of our faculty have “been there and done that,” and are qualified to teach the various subjects by knowledge and by experience. Code 3 Associates in partnership with Colorado State University is committed to providing top-tier training and education for law enforcement professionals. Our programs are recognized for their excellence and rigor, ensuring that officers who complete our training are highly educated and well-regarded by industry professionals, the courts, and partner agencies. This acknowledgment underscores the high standards and effectiveness of our educational offerings, affirming our role in advancing professional development in the field. Code 3 Associates offers the Essential Animal Services Training (EAST), Equine Investigations Academy (EIA) and continued education virtual series in partnership with Colorado State University.
