The AACIS Humane Euthanasia Technician certification course is an instructor-led course designed for animal care and control professionals. The course is for people seeking certification as a euthanasia technician and whose job duties include performing euthanasia in the State of Florida as required under Florida Statute 828.058(4)(a).

Registrants will participate in open discussions and participate in classroom activities on topics including, but not limited to:
Completion of this course requires that all registrants attend the entire course, participate in all discussions and hands-on training exercises, demonstrate euthanasia on one dog and one cat from animal selection to body disposal, and pass a written examination with a score of 80% or higher.
Registrants that successfully pass this course will receive a certification from the American Animal Cruelty Investigations School with the designation as a certified Humane Euthanasia Technician – State of Florida.
